Hi and welcome to my world – I’m Tippy!

I have always had a creative flair yet never really pursued a career in the arts. That’s until a few years ago. Having decided it was time for a change I soon discovered that makeup was exactly where my artistic passion flourished. I've never looked back.

I strongly believe that skin should still look like skin and makeup is simply a tool to enhance one's natural beauty. One of my clients once said – “I’ve seen so many people look like a completely different person (almost plastic…) after they’ve had their make-up applied professionally, but I was relieved that with Tippy we all still looked like ourselves, just on a really good day!”

Despite now working in all areas of makeup from fashion to editorial, I still love nothing more than being with my brides on their wedding day. I really enjoy being part of a bride’s big day and the craziness that surrounds the morning of a wedding excites me. Looking at a bride’s face light up after seeing her ‘wedding face’ all makes the trip and the early morning starts worthwhile!

The satisfaction of the bride and her party is of paramount importance to me, ensuring everyone is looking their very best before the day begins. I am extremely adaptable to all tastes. Admittedly though most modern brides are after soft, natural makeup which is what I absolutely love to create.

I live in Belfast but cover both Northern and the Republic of Ireland, London and surrounding areas. It's always a joy to hear each bride's plans, ideas and stories so gimme a shout if you want to meet for a cuppa or two and we can exchange stories about cats, love, life and all things wedding. I would absolutely love that!
