"As a bride, I initially considered having a makeup artist a luxury as opposed to something essential.  After chatting with some friends that recently got married, they encouraged me to treat myself, and i am so very glad i did! Tippy was my greatest find in the search for a range of different wedding vendors in Belfast.  She is attentive, patient, and listens carefully to what you want.  If you’re not so sure, she will gladly advise you based on the style of your dress and/or wedding, and also tailor is carefully to your complexion and colouring.  I opted for smokey eyes which is a bit unusual for a bride, but I have always loved the look and Tippy made it look just the right level of subtle, but glamorous and perfectly complimented my 50s vintage tea length dress.  She’s so friendly and approachable, it’s like having a friend do your makeup for you.  She puts you completely at ease.  A makeup trial a few weeks before my wedding was also included in my package, and it was such great fun.  It coincided with our wedding menu trial so I felt like a princess on the day.  Tippy also did the makeup for my two bridesmaids and my mum.  They all adored her and found her really calming on the day ... an antidote to my stress levels mainly due to last minute phone calls from a disorganised groom.  Despite having less time than expected when it came to do my makeup, Tippy was fantastic.  She worked quickly and carefully and completely transformed me.  My favourite parts of the makeup was the airbrush foundation which lasted all day in super hot weather, cheek bones that magically appeared, and making my eyes looks huge.  I would highly recommend Tippy as a makeup artist, and my friends and family will definitely be using her in future for any other special events that come up.   Finally, I learned that having your makeup done professionally on the day of your wedding is an absolute necessity.  And if you’re lucky, Tippy will be able to fit you in J"

“I already had my hairdresser sorted for our wedding and she recommended Tippy to me. From the start Tippy was both warm and personable but also very professional. She got me to fill out questionnaires on everyone getting their make-up done so she would be prepared, questions on our colourings, allergies, if we wore contact lenses, who wanted false eyelashes etc. She gave a quote for both the trial and the wedding morning and when I decided to go ahead she took a deposit to book the dates. I received an e-mail confirming everything, it was so reassuring to know everything was sorted out and that she was so competent – there were enough other things to be worried about. Tippy did my trial on the day of my hen which was great, she came to meet us where we were staying. Even though the purpose was to do the wedding trial, she suggested going with a slightly different look but assured me that the wedding make up would be more subtle. The morning of the wedding was so much fun, Tippy and Gillian came together and they had such a great rapport, not just with each other but with all of my bridesmaids, my mum and even the cat. We all loved them. She has an amazing collection and could cater for any make-up demand. Tippy is a great networker and after the wedding asked for permission to use some of our photos for a piece she was hoping to get in a magazine. We were so chuffed to get a full page spread in ‘Local Women’. ‘Tippy did my make up for a wedding I was a guest at in March 2015.
